Before you chow down on turkey and pumpkin pie on Thanksgiving, consider burning off calories beforehand at the tenth annual Sedona Turkey Trot 5K. The race kicks off and ends at Posse Grounds Park. The majority of the 3.1 mile course is on Soldier Pass Road, which means you can take in red rock views as you exercise. The Nov. 28 race starts at 7:45 a.m. From Nov. 1 to Nov. 26, tickets cost $35. Tickets purchased on the packet pickup day (Nov. 27 from 2 to 5 p.m.) and on race morning cost $40. The race is capped at 500 participants. You can find parking in the lot across from the skate park.
