Jerome Historic Home and Building Tour

Jerome Home Tour

Once billed as the wickedest town in the west, Jerome is now a bustling community. But who lives in this old copper mining town filled with rambunctious stories that almost always raise a few eyebrows? Now is your chance to find out. The Jerome Chamber of Commerce presents its 54th Annual Jerome Historic Home and Building Tour May 18-19, 2019. Take a peek inside a few homes in this mile-high town. On the tour, you will visit the Radio House, a 1919 miners shack filled with history and art, a home featured on “Boomtown Builder,” a master suite nestled in the trees, as well as a few other surprises. The tour begins at the J.C. Penney on Hull Avenue at 9 a.m., and the last trip starts at 3 p.m. Participants will ride in a van to most locations. Wear comfortable shoes, as there may be some walking involved. Plan on spending approximately two to four hours on the tour. Ticket prices are $25 for adults and $10 for kids. Children under 3 attend free. The tour is not handicapped accessible. For more information visit jeromechamber.com.
