Verde Valley Sinfonietta’s Emerging Artist Concert

One of Verde Valley Sinfonietta’s most popular performances, the Emerging Artist Concert, happens April 10 at 2:30 p.m. at the Sedona Performing Arts Center. This year’s concert will showcase 20-year-old cellist Peter Eom. Peter studies at Colburn Conservatory of Music in Los Angeles, but he was raised just down the road from Sedona in Gilbert. Peter will perform Tchaikovsky’s Variations on a Rococo Theme for Cello and Orchestra, Op. 33. The concert will also feature a silent auction. Doors open at 1:30 p.m. to preview and bid on auction items. After the concert, the auction will end with a performance by Peter in the SPAC lobby. Tickets are $55 for reserved seats.
