Celebration of Spring in Sedona

Okay, maybe spring did arrive early this year (think February). That doesn’t mean we shouldn’t throw a party in April! The City of Sedona Parks and Recreation’s annual Celebration of Spring takes place April 4 from 9 a.m. until noon at Posse Grounds Park. The celebration includes carnival rides, pony rides, a petting zoo, face painting, duck races, an appearance by the Easter bunny and an egg hunt. The egg hunts are divided into age groups and begin at approximately 10 a.m. There will be more than 10,000 eggs to find (children need to bring their own baskets). Admission is $5 for children 12 and younger and free for adults. Tickets are on sale now. For more information, visit www.sedonaaz.gov or call 928-203-5077. – Erika Ayn Finch
